The Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce is committed to helping your small business. Ninety percent of our 1,200 members are considered small businesses, and we strive to help your business flourish, whether it’s working to welcome your business, connecting you to local, state and national resources, or promoting your business through our various campaigns and events throughout the year. Let us be your collective voice and support.
Throughout the year, the Chamber provides programming to support small businesses. One such program is our Business Education Series, a “lunch and learn” or "coffee and conversation" format that gives valuable information on various business topics. Click Here to see the full schedule for our Business Education Series. Other events we organize to give maximum exposure to small businesses are our annual Business Expo (held each spring), Small Business Week recognition (in May), and support during the holiday shopping season (November-December).
We proudly work with the following organizations to ensure the success of small business in Glynn County:
- University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
- SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Business
- Coastal Area District Development Authority (CADDA)
- Coastal Pines Technical College's Professional Development Programming
- Troy University's Continuing Education Programming
In addition, the Chamber is proud to support One Million Cups, a program developed by the Kauffman Foundation, that meets the first Wednesday of each month at 9:00 AM at Tipsy McSway’s in downtown Brunswick. Attendees learn from entrepreneurs and mentors as they exchange ideas, explore challenges, and connect with the entrepreneurial community. Click Here for the One Million Cups website.
