    Event Description:
    This course provides training on Commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and prepares for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 UAS Pilot Exam. Learn how to comply with FAA regulations and safely operate UAS for commercial purposes. Also learn how to safely navigate in complex airspace and apply for waivers. Study guides and workbooks are provided along with support following completion of this training, including unlimited access to online practice exams. Drones are not included with the cost of this training but provided for the flying portion of this training on Saturday.

    • Agriculture: Farmers are using drones for a wide variety of uses including inspections, chemical disbursement
    • Forestry: Large lots and acreage can be inspected more efficiently and effectively using drones.

    • Real Estate: Realtors quite often hire drone pilots to capture aerial footage for advertising properties
    • Engineering: Engineers can use drones in building pipelines in road maintenance inspections or pipeline projects to increase efficiency.
    • Media/Marketing: Aerial footage captured by drones for newscasts, video or marketing is dynamic and provides engaging coverage of events.
