The Chamber serves as the community’s advocate for a vibrant and prosperous economy and outstanding quality of life for Brunswick, Saint Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Sea Island and Little Saint Simons Island.
We are proud to share our year in review video with our community. It gives an overview of tremendous accomplishments over the 2025-2026 year.

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting Georgia Labor Commissioner Bárbara Rivera Holmes for Coffee & Conversation. Joined by community professionals and elected officials, we discussed the opportunities and challenges facing Glynn County and how continued collaboration can positively impact the Golden Isles.
The conversation also highlighted the importance of education and workforce development in preparing local talent, supporting area businesses and building a stronger future for our entire community. Thank you to Commissioner Holmes and everyone who joined us for this meaningful discussion.
Yesterday, the Chamber joined community members and local leaders for a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the opening of the Glynn County Georgia GOP‘s new office in Redfern Village. Congressman Buddy Carter, Georgia Labor Commissioner Bárbara Rivera Holmes and local elected officials were also in attendance for the occasion.
Ribbon cuttings allow us to recognize important milestones for our members while bringing people from across the Golden Isles together. We appreciate everyone who joined us for the occasion and extend a warm welcome to the organization’s new Redfern Village location.

Today, we were proud to host our annual State of the Workforce & Education at Epworth by The Sea, bringing together community leaders, business professionals, and education partners to have meaningful conversations about the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of our community.
We were honored to learn from Dr. Ande Noktes, CEO of The Lucas Center for Entrepreneurship, and Ryan Moore, President & CEO of the Golden Isles Development Authority, as they shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship, workforce development, and the opportunities that can help drive continued growth in our community.
We were also grateful for an outstanding education panel featuring Brian Weese, CEO of the Golden Isles College & Career Academy; Lonnie Roberts, President of Coastal Pines Technical College; Mike Blackerby, Superintendent of Glynn County Schools; and Dr. Johnny Evans Jr., President of the College of Coastal Georgia.
Bringing these leaders together matters. When business, education, workforce development, and community leadership come together around the same table, we create stronger connections, identify opportunities, and build a clearer path toward a thriving future for our region.
A very special thank you to McKnight Construction for serving as our presenting sponsor, to our Chamber Champions for their continued investment in the Chamber and our community, and to everyone who took the time to attend and be part of this important conversation.
Thank you for showing up, sharing your expertise, and believing in the future of the Golden Isles. Together, we are building a stronger workforce, stronger businesses, and a stronger community.

Making a difference and supporting the businesses and people who make the Golden Isles such a special place is at the heart of what we do.
As we begin a new Chamber year, we were proud to bring together our Board of Directors and Chamber Foundation Board for our annual Board Retreat. This time gives our leadership an opportunity to reflect on the progress we’ve made, discuss the needs and opportunities ahead, and establish a shared vision for how the Chamber can continue serving our members and strengthening our community.
Through thoughtful conversations and collaboration, we explored new ways to create meaningful connections, support our local businesses, develop leaders, and encourage continued growth throughout the Golden Isles.
We’re grateful for the dedication of our Board of Directors and Chamber Foundation Board for their commitment to the Chamber’s mission. We look forward to another year of working alongside our members and community partners to build an even stronger Golden Isles.
