What a night celebrating 40 years of Leadership Glynn 🎉

For four decades, Leadership Glynn has brought together individuals from across the Golden Isles who are passionate about growing as leaders and making a difference in our community. Through this program, participants gain a deeper understanding of local issues, build lasting relationships, and step into leadership roles across business, education, nonprofit, and public service.

This special reunion was a chance to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate the impact of leaders past and present who continue to shape Glynn County. And the fun didn’t stop there… @isounddjs kept the energy going by spinning the top hits from each of the past 40 years 🎶

The 2026 Teacher Externship was a powerful reminder of what happens when education and industry come together.

This year, local educators stepped beyond the classroom and into workplaces across our community, gaining real-world insight into the skills students need to succeed. From healthcare and public safety to hospitality, manufacturing, and beyond, participants experienced firsthand the wide range of career opportunities available right here in the Golden Isles.

These externships are about more than observation—they equip teachers with meaningful, up-to-date knowledge they can bring back to their students, helping connect classroom learning to future careers. By building these bridges, we’re strengthening our workforce pipeline and investing in the long-term success of our region.

On Monday, our externship teams came back together to share the classroom deliverables they created with the community.

Each project reflects the real-world experiences they gained and is designed to help students better understand the diverse businesses and career opportunities right here in the Golden Isles. These resources will soon be available on the Chamber website, giving educators across our area new tools to connect their classrooms to our local workforce.

We were proud to celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Gardner Printing Services as they officially join the Brunswick-Golden Isles business community.

Originally established in Baxley in 2017, Gardner Printing Services brings a wide range of offerings to the Golden Isles including business printing, signage, apparel, promotional products, and even large-scale projects like LED scoreboard installations. Their newly renovated Brunswick location is a great addition to our growing community, and we are excited to see their continued success.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support this special day and help welcome Gardner Printing Services to the area. Be sure to stop by and check out their new space at 3362 Cypress Mill Road, Unit D.

Yesterday we had the privilege to celebrate a ribbon cutting at Vaden Hyundai Brunswick 🎉✂️

Not only is their new building absolutely beautiful, but their commitment to our community continues to shine. For the fourth summer in a row, Vaden Automotive has generously donated to the Chamber Foundation for STEM kits to be on the Book Space, a mobile library that helps bring books and learning opportunities to children who may not otherwise have access.
