The Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce is a member-based organization that provides leadership in fostering a dynamic business environment for the entire community.

Welcome

The Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce has served as the “Voice of Business” in the community since its inception in 1954. The Chamber serves as the community’s advocate for a vibrant and prosperous economy and outstanding quality of life for Brunswick, Saint Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Sea Island and Little Saint Simons Island.

We are proud to share our year in review video with our community. It gives an overview of tremendous accomplishments over the 2023-2024 year.

The Anchor

The Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce partnered with our Chamber members to create the 2024-2025 Community Magazine. This magazine features strengths of our community such as our revitalization of downtown Brunswick, our top-rated health care facility, economic development, hospitality and tourism and much more.

🚨Annual Golf Tournament POSTPONED!🚨

After many weather briefings, discussions with Sea Palms, and careful consideration by the Executive Board, we have made the decision to postpone the 2024 Woodside Invitational. This decision comes out of an abundance of caution and our desire to maintain the quality of play.

While the hurricane’s path is currently moving west, Sea Palms has advised that even a small amount of rain could result in a Cart Path Only format, significantly extending the tournament`s duration. With a sold-out event, this would impact both the pace and overall experience.

We’re grateful to Sea Palms for their partnership and for helping us secure a new date for the tournament: October 18, 2024.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

We`ll be celebrating with Magnolia Social Society during the after-party at Friday`s golf tournament.

We would like to give a shout-out to Alicia M Haynie for her support and for helping make the after-party a blast!

Tuesday afternoon update from the National Weather Service: PTC9 is now Tropical Storm Helene and is expected to reach hurricane status on Wednesday. If it impacts the Golden Isles, that`s now expected Thursday afternoon or evening.
• Increasing risk of tropical storm-force winds, especially inland. There’s a 4 in 10 chance of seeing sustained tropical storm winds over Southeast Georgia, which could rise as we approach landfall.
• Projected surge of 2-4 feet above ground level in Glynn County, with adjustments likely as the storm develops. This will change depending on the track.
• The greatest threat of tornadoes will be from Thursday morning into Friday, primarily along the coast and interior regions.
Glynn County initiating steps to make sure preparation is at its highest. Sandbags and sand will be available beginning Wednesday morning in several locations: Brunswick downtown at the Pate Building parking area; Brunswick at Fire Station 3 on Fourth St.; SSI at the Public Works/Fire Station/Police Station ( 1965 Demere Rd. ). Be safe, monitor this web site for updates and download the free CodeRed app to get live and immediate updates on storm threats in your neighborhood.
