Today we are highlighting Communities in Schools of Glynn. and their direct impact on our community through our Golden Opportunities Spotlight!
Communities In Schools of Glynn County is an affiliate of the nation’s largest dropout prevention organization. Nationally, there are over 1.4 million students served.
They place dedicated staff members called Site Coordinators in local schools where they build strong relationships with students, parents, educators, and community members. Their site coordinators identify barriers that prevent students from succeeding in school. The administrators and site coordinators will then work together to develop individual plans and build teams of support.
