On Friday, we held our first Board of Governors meeting, marking an important moment for our organization.

During the meeting, we had the opportunity to hear from candidates running for Georgia’s First Congressional District, gaining insight into their priorities and perspectives on issues impacting our region.

Our Board of Governors is comprised of past chairmen, valued community partners, Gold Level and above Chamber Champions, and members of our current Board of Directors, both from the Chamber and the Foundation.
This group brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and community commitment to the table, and we are grateful for their continued engagement and service.

We appreciate the candidates for taking the time to meet with our Board and look forward to continued conversations that support informed leadership and a strong future for our community.

Friday, we were thrilled to put on our annual State of the Community luncheon.

We were thrilled to see such a strong turnout of business leaders, community partners, and residents who came together to stay informed and engaged.
Our City and County leaders delivered meaningful updates on where we are today and where we’re headed, highlighting progress, priorities, and opportunities that impact our community as a whole.

The thoughtful presentations and open dialogue made for an informative and energizing evening, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between local government and the business community.
